§ 1
Purpose of the personal data processing
„Prawo Ubezpieczeniowe” Foundation – The publisher and Editorial Board of quarterly Prawo Asekuracyjne (Insurance Law) processes personal data of authors of articles and other texts as well as the reviewers in order to carry out and document the review, editorial and publishing process.
§ 2
Scope of the personal data processing
The processed data include:
1) first name(s) and surname,
2) professional title,
3) degree or academic title
4) affiliation; address of residence,
5) correspondence address,
6) e-mail address, telephone,
7) ORCID identifier ,
8) and other data which are provided by authors or reviewers and processed at the request of the data subject.
§ 3
Period of processing of personal data
- Personal data, necessary to carry out and document the reviewing, editing and publishing process, can be processed for 10 years from the date of publication of the article in “Prawo Asekuracyjne” or the end of the reviewing process in the case of texts not qualified for publication.
- In the case of texts withdrawn by the author before obtaining a review – until the date of withdrawal of consent, but no longer than a year from the moment of withdrawal of the text.
§ 4
Transmission and disclosure of personal data
Personal data referred to in § 2 may be made available to members of the Editorial Board, the Editorial Office of „Prawo Asekuracyjne („Insurance Law”), the Publisher of “Prawo Asekuracyjne” and to entities maintaining databases of scientific texts (to the extent necessary to assess the quality of the reviewing, editing and publishing process), as well as to the state authorities upon their legitimate request.
§ 5
Rights of the data subject
- The persons whose data are being processed have the right to:
1) information about the scope of the data,
2) the right to access them,
3) right to their portability,
4) right to demand their rectification,
5) right to erasure or restriction of their processing
6) right to object to the processing of data,
7) right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory authority.
- The scope of the right to request erasure or restriction of data processing and to object to its processing is limited due to the legitimate legal interest of the controller, due to the necessity to document information necessary for tax reasons or to document the review, editorial and publishing process.
- A request for erasure of the processed data can be made to: prawoasekuracyjne@fundacjaprawoubezpieczeniowe.buzz .
